Chandigarh, July 27 -- The School Council Elections were conducted at DC Montessori Sr Sec (Smart) School with the objective of providing students with a first-hand experience of the democratic process and nurturing the values of leadership, responsibility, discipline, and active citizenship. Students from Classes 6 to 12 participated enthusiastically in the election to elect their representatives for the positions of head boy, head girl, vice head boy, and vice head girl. Proper polling booths were set up within the school premises, providing students with an authentic voting experience. The NCC cadets were entrusted with election duty and played a commendable role in maintaining discipline and ensuring the smooth and peaceful conduct of the polling process. The election concluded successfully, and the eagerly awaited results were subsequently declared. The elected representatives were congratulated by the School Principal Vishali Kausal on their victory and encouraged to uphold the trust placed in them by their fellow students.
