Panchkula, March 2 -- To mark the discovery of the 'raman effect' by the eminent scientist CV Raman, St Xavier's High School, celebrated National Science Day by organising a special assembly, on 28th February. The assembly commenced with the school prayer, followed by a thought-provoking speech highlighting the significance of science in daily life. Students presented interesting facts and performed interesting experiments to show how science is an indispensable part of our lives.
