CHANDIGARH, Sept. 23 -- St Xavier's Senior Secondary School, Chandigarh, created history by winning the UT Inter School Cricket Tournament in the Under-17 girls' category, defeating Sacred Heart School by 31 runs. The final match was played at the Guru Nanak Public School grounds in Sector-36, Chandigarh. Winning the toss, St Xavier's elected to bat first and posted a competitive total of 89 runs for the loss of two wickets in their allotted 12 overs. In response, Sacred Heart School was restricted to just 58 runs for 6 wickets in their 12 overs.
