Panchkula, Sept. 25 -- St Xavier's High School, celebrated its Founder's Day. The celebration commemorated the vision and legacy of the school's founder, Andrew J Gosain. The programme commenced with a welcome and introduction, setting the tone for a memorable celebration. This was followed by the school prayer, seeking blessings for the continued growth and success of the institution. The school captain then delivered a speech highlighting the founder's vision and the values that form the foundation of the school. Students presented four 'one-act' plays based on the works of William Shakespeare. The performances showcased the students' acting abilities, confidence, expression and understanding of classical literature, receiving enthusiastic appreciation from the audience. The cultural extravaganza continued with a dance performance by the senior students, followed by a senior elocution presentation that gave young speakers an opportunity to express their ideas with confidence and conviction. The musical segment featured duet singing by the students. The junior school students then presented a special performance. The celebration concluded with the vote of thanks by the principal George S Shear who expressed gratitude to the management, teachers, students, parents and everyone who contributed to making the occasion successful.
