St Xavier's High School organises carrom tourney
Panchkula, May 13 -- St Xavier's High School, organised the 17th edition of the Clive Shear Memorial Carrom Tournament.
Eleven teams from seven reputed schools of the tricity participated in the competition.
It was a two-day tournament, and both schools, St Xavier's Chandigarh, and St Xavier's High School, Panchkula reached the final.
However, St Xavier's High School, Panchkula emerged as the victorious team in the Girls' category and secured second position in the Boys' category. St Xavier's Senior Secondary School, Chandigarh emerged as the winner in the Boys' category and secured second position in the Girls' category.
Additional principal, Gavin Bond and junior vice principal Trevor S Shear awarded the medals to the runner-up teams.
Principal George S Shear presented the victorious teams with the medals and trophies.
He encouraged and motivated the students to actively participate in future tournaments....
