Chandigarh, Sept. 14 -- Sri Guru Harkrishan Senior Secondary Public School celebrated Janmashtami with great devotion, enthusiasm and spiritual fervour. The celebration beautifully reflected the timeless teachings and values of Lord Krishna. The programme commenced with a melodious bhajan in remembrance of Krishna, creating a serene and devotional atmosphere. Students dressed as Krishna, Radha and Gopis added colour and charm to the celebration. The highlight of the programme was a meaningful dramatic presentation portraying significant episodes from Krishna's life and teachings. Through the touching Krishna-Sudama episode, students conveyed the true essence of friendship and selfless love. The Krishna-Karna episode highlighted the values of truth, loyalty, righteousness and the difficult choices one faces in life. The Krishna-Arjuna episode brought out the importance of performing one's duty and following the path of dharma. The principal, Shama Kukkal, appreciated the students and teachers for their dedicated efforts and inspiring presentation.
