Spirituality takes centre stage at fair in Ludhiana
India, Sept. 3 -- Ananda Sangha Team Ludhiana organised a spiritual fair at Omaxe Royal Residency on Pakhowal Road recently, where speakers discussed various aspects of spirituality aimed at helping participants focus their minds and attain mental peace.
During the programme, Prem Inder Rattan and Brahmachari Ramesh conducted meditation sessions, while Colonel Naveen Prashar spoke on 'Mahabharata: An Inner War'. Divya Jyoti conducted a yoga session focused on improving concentration while Swami Dev Rishi provided guidance on kriya yoga for attaining inner peace and improving mental focus.
Harpriya Gill, coordinator of the programme, said the event was based on Paramahansa Yogananda's book Autobiography of a Yogi.
She said the objective of the programme was to provide people with detailed information about meditation and kriya yoga. "In today's stressful lifestyle, keeping the mind calm and focused is important," she said, adding that this can inspire people to deal with difficult situations better and lead happier lives.
"Meditation can help calm the mind, improve concentration and manage everyday stress. Yoga and meditation can be particularly beneficial for children and young people, helping them improve concentration during studies while keeping their minds calm," Gill said. HTC...
