Panchkula, Sept. 21 -- Solitaire International School, Sector-20 hosted a CBSE Capacity Building Programme for teachers on science (Elementary). The programme brought together teachers from various schools across the Tricity, providing them with an enriching platform for professional learning and collaborative exchange. The workshop focused on strengthening pedagogical practices in the teaching of science at the elementary level, with emphasis on child-centred, experiential and inquiry-based learning. The resource persons Rajan Sharma, principal, Millennium World School, Kaithal and Vivek Verma, SD Public School, Jagadhri, engaged the participants in some meaningful discussions and interactive activities, highlighting effective strategies to nurture more scientific curiosity, encourage questioning and facilitate conceptual understanding among young learners.
