Barnala, May 17 -- Police have busted a gang allegedly involved in 14 incidents of snatching and assault across Barnala within five days, including an attackon councillor Narinder Garg Neeta. DSP Satvir Singh said four members of the gang had been arrested. They were identified as Harshdeep Singh, who allegedly operated in Nihang attire; Sahil, Pardeep Singh and Rohit Sharma, all residents of Barnala. The DSP said police formed multiple teams after two back-to-back incidents of snatching. First councillor Neeta was attacked on May 12, then a youth was targeted at Kachheri Chowk. The gang assaulted the victim, before fleeing with his cash. The youth suffered wrist injuries and was admitted to AIIMS Bathinda for treatment.HTC...
