ChandigaRH, Oct. 7 -- Swadeshi Week was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Shri Kulwant Rai Sarvahitkari Vidya Mandir, Sector 43-B, Chandigarh. A series of activities were organised throughout the week to create awareness among students about the importance and use of indigenous products. The week-long celebration commenced on September 25, with the birth anniversary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya. Various activities were organised as part of the celebration, including a swabhasha signature campaign, an exhibition of Swadeshi products, a swadeshi pledge, promotion of the use of cloth and paper bags, swadeshi slogan writing, and a rally to spread awareness about the use of indigenous products. The programme concluded on October 2, on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti. Through these activities, students were made aware of the significance of Swadeshi products and encouraged to use more indigenous products in their daily lives.
