Ropar, Aug. 31 -- Shemrock World School celebrated the 80th Independence Day of India with immense enthusiasm, patriotic fervour, and a profound sense of national pride. The celebration commenced with a warm and ceremonial welcome of the school management and distinguished guests. The ceremonial lamp was illuminated, symbolising knowledge, hope, enlightenment, and the bright future of the nation. The celebration was attended by the presence of the directors, Mukesh Berry and Anu Berry. The National Flag was unfurled by Mukesh Berry. This was followed by the National Anthem, filling the atmosphere with patriotic fervour and collective pride in the nation. The students presented an impressive blend of patriotic dances, energetic drill formations, group performances, poetry, and thematic presentations, beautifully portraying the spirit of India. The investiture ceremony was another significant moment of the celebration.
