Shemrock organises achievers' award event
Mohali, April 22 -- Shemrock Senior Secondary School, Sector 69, organised the 'achievers' award' ceremony with great fervour and enthusiasm to honour students for their outstanding achievements during the academic session 2025-26. The event commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp, followed by students soulfully rendering 'vande mataram' and the school shabad, filling the atmosphere with spirituality.
Hardeep Singh Chandpuri, a renowned media expert and son of mahavir chakra awardee brigadier Kuldeep Singh Chandpuri, graced the occasion as the chief guest. He was joined by the school's managing director, Karan Bajwa, and principal, Parineet Sohal. During the ceremony, meritorious students from classes 6th to 9th and 11th were honoured for their academic excellence. Furthermore, special awards were conferred upon students who maintained 100% attendance, setting an example of regularity.
Congratulating the students, Bajwa said, "Today is a celebration of our students' hard work and dedication. Shemrock School is committed to providing an environment where students lead not just in academics, but in every sphere of life."
Principal Sohal, while addressing the gathering, remarked, "The purpose of education is not merely to score marks but to build character and discipline."
