Panchkula, July 8 -- A school buscarrying around 15 students crashed into five vehicles parked outside a house inSector 26 on Tuesday morning around 7.30 after the driver reportedly lost control while trying to avoid hitting atwo-wheeler. No child or other road user was injured in the incident. According to the police, the bus, belonging to a private school in Sector 28, was taking students of different classes to school when the mishap took place. Assistant sub-inspector (ASI) Sunil Beniwal of the Sector 25 police post said the road was narrow and several residents had parked their vehicles outside their houses due to a lack of proper parking space. During the journey, a scooterist suddenly came in front of the bus. While attempting to save the rider, the driver swerved the bus and accidentally pressed the accelerator, causing the bus to hit five parked vehicles. The impact damaged all five vehicles. A police team from the Sector 25 police post reached the spot and inspected the spot. The students were immediately shifted to another school bus and safely sent to school. Police said neither party lodged a complaint, and the matter was amicably settled after the bus owner agreed to compensate the owners of the damaged vehicles....
