Chandigarh, Aug. 25 -- Rajya Sabha Member from Punjab Satnam Singh Sandhu recorded 100% attendance during the monsoon session. A press release issued by the MP's staff stated that during the session, Sandhu participated in 11 debates and raised 29 questions highlighting issues concerning Punjab, including agriculture, water security, healthcare, infrastructure, education and air connectivity. It added that Sandhu raised issues concerning water security and conservation, the need to modernise Punjab's canal system and rejuvenate wetlands, concerns over the rising drug menace in the state, agricultural issues, foodgrain storage scarcity, cooperative sugar mills, building robust cancer-care infrastructure and international connectivity from Chandigarh.
