India, Aug. 30 -- A ctor Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who is expecting her first child with filmmaker husband Raj Nidimoru, has opened up about weight gain and how pregnancy has made her feel "empowered". During an Instagram AMA with new mothers on Friday, Samantha asked, "New mamas, how we doing?" When a fan replied, "Gaining weight," the actor responded, "I feel ya. 11 kgs up already." Another fan joked about experiencing "Mom brain", to which Samantha replied, "Can't wait." Responding to a new mother who described the cycle of feeding, burping and rocking her baby, Samantha wrote, "That already sounds like a full-time job!" The actor also admitted pregnancy had surprised her emotionally. When a fan said motherhood was making her set the bar higher for herself, Samantha replied, "Love that for you! Didn't expect to feel this empowered by this whole thing. Thought I'd be mostly overwhelmed." Asked if she was enjoying the phase, she said, "With all my heart."
