India, Sept. 29 -- A ctor Salman Khan has called for legal action against people who knowingly create and circulate fake AI videos, saying offenders should be put "behind bars". Speaking on Bigg Boss 20, the actor revealed that he, too, has featured in manipulated AI content. "Someone made an AI video, or did AI voice dubbing; that is wrong. AI has progressed so much that it's very scary," said Salman, adding, "Bahut saare logon ke [AI videos bana rahe hain], and even I am there in the AI video." The actor said such videos could easily mislead people who may not realise they are AI-generated. "Those who know this reality and still created the video... those kinds of people should be put behind bars. Jab tak koi ek aadh, do aisa andar jaayega nahi na, tab tak yeh rukne wala nahi hai." Calling for stronger regulation, he added, "There has to be a law that needs to be passed, and there has to be censorship on social media." Salman also pointed out that while celebrities can approach cybercrime authorities when targeted by manipulated content, ordinary people may not have the same resources, leaving them and their families more vulnerable to its impact.
