Fatehgarh Sahib, Aug. 14 -- Saffron City School celebrated Teej with great enthusiasm, bringing alive the vibrant colours and rich traditions of Punjab. Asha, president of the municipal council, graced the occasion as the chief guest. The school campus wore a festive look with colourful phulkaris, pakhis and parandas adorning the surroundings. The atmosphere came alive with the melodious beats of giddha, tappe and Punjabi folk dances, while a lively ramp walk in traditional Punjabi attire. Students also showcased their entrepreneurial skills by putting up stalls of eatables prepared by them.
