Amritsar, Aug. 18 -- Under the visionary leadership and supreme guidance of chairman A F Pinto and managing director Grace Pinto, Ryan International School, Amritsar organised a vibrant and patriotic special assembly on the occasion of Independence Day, celebrating the spirit of freedom, unity and national pride. The assembly commenced with the Lord's prayer, followed by Bible reading, special prayer and prayer songs, seeking God's blessings for the nation and its citizens. A welcome song and a welcome speech set the tone for the celebrations. The spirit of patriotism came alive through a series of captivating performances, including a patriotic dance, soulful singing performance and an inspiring theatrical play portraying the sacrifices of India's freedom fighters. The celebration was further enhanced by an energetic Bhangra performance on a patriotic song. The assembly also featured the National Pledge.
