Run for DAV: P'kula cluster schools hold campaign against drug addiction
Panchkula, Oct. 7 -- On the occasion of mahatma gandhi jayanti, the DAV schools of panchkula cluster organised "Run for DAV - A campaign against drug addiction" under the guidelines of DAV College Managing Committee, New Delhi.
The run was flagged off by the chief guest Aditi Singh, DCP Panchkula from rajhans cinema, sector-5, Panchkula. The campaign was organised to spread awareness among youth against the menace of drug addiction and to reaffirm faith in the gandhian values of truth, non-violence and peace. All the five schools of Panchkula cluster participated enthusiastically.
Nearly 500 students along with staff members and principals participated in the event.
Students and staff of Col VR Mohan DAV Public School, Dera Bassi participated in the run with great enthusiasm, zeal and vigour. Holding placards and raising slogans against drug addiction, the students gave a strong message of a healthy, fit and drug-free India. Their disciplined march and energetic participation were highly appreciated by one and all.
