Chandigarh, July 19 -- Police booked an unidentified person on Saturday in a theft case for stealing Rs.1 lakh from a man who was sleeping outside the emergency ward of Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) on the intervening night between Friday and Saturday. Police said, Gaurav, had collected Rs.1 lakh from his friends and acquaintances for the treatment of his 23-year-old sister Pooja who is suffering from brain hemorrhage. At PGIMER she was advised to undergo surgery. He went to sleep outside the ward with the money in his pocket. On waking up, he found the money missing from his pocket. After the police were informed, a case was registered at the Sector 11 police station. Police are reviewing CCTV footage from nearby cameras....
