Rishabh Pant's unfiltered midnight land plea sparks meme fest; CM responds

ishabh Pant appears to have played a rather different kind of innings late on Friday night. In a string of unusually candid, typo-filled posts on X, the India wicketkeeper-batter appealed to Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami for help in finding a piece of land in the state so he could shift his base from Delhi. Posting around 12.46am on Saturday, Pant said he had been trying for nearly three years to find suitable land in Uttarakhand. Expressing his desire to return to his roots, he said he wanted to live among his "Pahadi people" and contribute to the state's development.
It was his follow-up, however, that gave the internet plenty to work with. Pant said he was willing to buy the land, before cheekily adding that "a gift would be lovely". The late hour, loose phrasing and spelling errors quickly turned the exchange into meme fodder.
"Bhai, phone rakh de aur so ja," wrote one user, while another joked, "Bottle rakh de Pant bhai, subah baat kar lena." Several others wondered what had prompted the unusually unfiltered midnight posts.
Dhami later responded to Pant, calling him the "pride of Uttarakhand" and saying officials had been directed to get in touch with him and provide assistance as per rules. HTC...
