Chandigarh, May 28 -- Haryana health minister Arti Singh Rao on Wednesday honoured the medical superintendent of Pandit Bhagwat Dayal Sharma University of Health Sciences, PGIMS Rohtak, State Organ and Tissue Transplant Organisation (SOTO) Haryana and the organ transplant team by presenting them certificates of appreciation in Chandigarh. According to an official, the health minister said that due to their tireless efforts, Haryana is emerging as a model state in the field of organ donation. She congratulated vice chancellor Dr HK Aggarwal, medical superintendent, Dr Kundan Mittal, doctors, surgeons, the SOTO Haryana team, nursing staff and the entire medical team for successfully carrying out organ transplants from brain-dead donors.
