Punjab rolls out career guidance counselling programme
Chandigarh, Dec. 6 -- Punjab has collaborated with the IIT Madras Pravartak to roll out a statewide career guidance programme to create a structure where every teacher becomes a trained career mentor, said education minister Harjot Singh Bains on Friday. Bains said that over 5,000 teachers would be trained to guide students towards informed, future-ready career choices under the programme.
