Srinagar, July 31 -- Kashmir Anti Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) has arrested a Punjab-based drug peddler and recovered 100 gm of heroin from him at Lasjan, Nowgam, said officials on Thursday. Officials said they took action after receiving specific information regarding the movement of a drug peddler carrying narcotic contraband. "A team of ANTF Kashmir launched a targeted operation at Lasjan. During the operation, one individual identified as Love Preet Singh of Sunder Nagar Mustafa Abad, Amritsar, Punjab, was apprehended and heroin weighing 100 grams was recovered from him," police spokesman said, adding that a case under section 8/21 NDPS Act was registered against him and further investigation is underway. 5HTC...
