Political row over reports of FIRs against Sandeep Pathak
Chandigarh, May 3 -- The BJP on Saturday accused the AAP government in Punjab of "political vendetta" after reports - unconfirmed by police or the ruling party - emerged that Rajya Sabha MP Sandeep Pathak had been booked under non-bailable sections in two cases.
Pathak was among seven MPs who quit AAP for BJP on April 24. Attempts to reach senior Punjab Police officers, including those in the Vigilance Bureau, went unanswered.
AAP spokesperson Neel Garg said the party had only seen media reports and had no official information on the matter. Pathak himself told news agency ANI: "I have no idea of any FIR against me." P2...
