Panchkula, May 3 -- The district police on Saturday said that it established three separate green corridors to transport organs donated by a brain-dead patient to their destinations. The coordinated operation was time-sensitive, officials said. Following the organ retrieval procedure at Command Hospital, Chandimandir, the same were swiftly transported to Chandigarh, Mohali, and the Technical Airport in the UT, officials said. The organs were dispatched for transplantation to PGIMER, Chandigarh, Apollo Hospital, Delhi (via Mohali airport), and an army airbase.
