Rohtak, Oct. 19 -- A team of crime investigation agency (CIA) of Rohtak police on Sunday raided an illegal firecracker factory on Kacha Chamaria Road and recovered a large quantity of explosives and raw material estimated to be worth nearly Rs.2 crore, officials said. Police detained five women, one man and a few children who were living on the premises. The workers claimed they were unaware whether the factory had a valid licence. The owner of the unit was not present at the site. Officials seized more than 200 boxes of firecrackers, including around 100 large boxes, about 70 smaller ones and several even smaller packages.
