Chandigarh, Sept. 24 -- A 'library clinic' activity was conducted in the library of PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya 3 BRD AFS Chandigarh to promote care, responsibility and respect for books. As part of the activity, members of the reader's club carefully inspected the library collection and identified books that were torn, damaged or in need of repair. The students actively participated in repairing the books, including fixing torn pages, strengthening bindings and restoring worn-out books. The activity was conducted under the guidance of librarian Surjeet Singh Negi, who guided the students in the proper methods of book repair and preservation. Principal Harjinder Kaur appreciated the initiative and said, "The library clinic teaches students to value, care for and preserve books." The activity provided students with a hands-on learning experience and developed a sense of ownership and responsibility towards library resources.
