Chandigarh, April 5 -- Residents enjoyed pleasant weather on Saturday as the day remained largely sunny after Friday evening's showers. India Meteorological Department (IMD) officials have, however, predicted another spell of rain in the coming week. Despite sunny conditions, the maximum temperature dropped from 31.7degC on Friday to 30.8degC on Saturday, 1.8 degrees below normal. As the sky turned clear, the minimum temperature also slid from 19.9degC on Friday to 17.4degC on Saturday, 1.5 degrees below normal. As per IMD officials, the Western Disturbance still persists in the region and partly cloudy weather is likely in the coming days. As per initial forecasts, rain is likely on April 7 and April 8. Over the next three days, the maximum temperature will remain around 30degC while the minimum temperature will remain around 15degC....
