India, Aug. 24 -- After buying his dream home in Pune, Parth Samthaan is preparing for another milestone. He plans to move into a Mumbai apartment by Ganesh Chaturthi on September 14, calling it the next "major chapter" of his life. For Samthaan, known for playing Manik Malhotra in Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan and Anurag Basu in Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2, the purchase is about more than upgrading his address. "The main purpose of the house will be to shift my mother with me to Mumbai. Having spent years working in Mumbai, I am the actor who prioritises family over solitude. I don't want to live alone as all my work is happening here for now, ghar jaisa feel hona chahiye," he tells us. The residence will be a more expansive version of his current Mumbai home, designed around his preference for open spaces: "I am an open space person. Both my apartments will be centred around that vision. So I have already ensured the new apartment features two spacious terraces, a must-have for me to sit and chill after long hours of filming." His Pune home, which has four balconies, remains his most cherished purchase as it allows him to reconnect with his childhood. "It is such a good feeling to be able to stay connected with Nature in any possible way in today's time," the actor muses. However, setting up two properties alongside 14-hour shoots has proved challenging. Samthaan admits he has barely had time to begin the interiors. "Time kahan hain? I am shooting for 14 hours and kaam toh zaroori hai, else EMIs kahan se dunga joh jitna bada ghar liya hain? As and when I get time, I will go back to do the interiors of the house," he shares....
