Parliament nod for anti-paper leak bill; modisays promise met
New Delhi, July 31 -- Parliament passed the Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Amendment Bill, 2026 - which was brought in by the government following massive student protests against irregularities in competitive examinations - with the Rajya Sabha clearing the bill through a voice vote on Thursday, a day after it was cleared by the Lok Sabha.
A strong anti-paper leak bill has been passed by both Houses of Parliament," Prime Minister Modi said in a video.
