Panchkula, May 15 -- In the Board of School Education Haryana Class 10 results announced on Thursday, Panchkula recorded a pass percentage of 91.66%, a dip from its last year's performance. Last year, Panchkula was the best performing district with a pass percentage of 98.35%. This year, in the regular category, 4,286 students out of 4,676 who appeared for the examination passed. Charkhi Dadari registered the highest pass percentage in the state at 96.01%, where 5,557 students out of 5,788 candidates passed. Among the district toppers, Sumit from Government Senior Secondary School, Ramgarh, secured the first position in Panchkula with 490 marks. Ekamjot Kaur from New Standard High School stood second in the district with 489 marks, while Suhani from Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Sector 15, secured 486 marks. In the private category, Panchkula recorded a pass percentage of 49.43%, with 43 students qualifying out of 87 candidates who appeared for the examination. Kaithal registered the highest pass percentage in the private category at 88.59%, where 396 out of 447 students passed the examination....
