Chandigarh, Aug. 24 -- Chandigarh Police have arrested a 39-year-old man in connection with a mobile phone and purse snatching case reported on the Sector 47/48 dividing road. The accused, identified as Naresh Kumar of Faidan Nizampur, was arrested and an FIR was registered at Police Station 49. The second accused, identified as Happy, took the victim's mobile phone and remains at large. According to police, the complainant, a 26-year-old private employee, was returning home on a bicycle on August 20 when the two men on a red motorcycle allegedly intercepted him near Faidan light point and snatched his phone and purse. A passer-by helped apprehend Naresh, from whose possession the purse, documents and Rs.80 were recovered. htc...
