India, March 19 -- Addressing frequent flyers' concerns, the Ministry of Civil Aviation, through the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), introduced new passenger-friendly rules on Wednesday. The press release stated that "passenger facilitation remains its highest priority". With India now the "third-largest domestic aviation market globally", the guidelines aim to improve travel ease through initiatives like UDAN Yatri Cafes for affordable food, Flybrary for free books, and complimentary airport Wi-Fi. The move is being hailed as a "welcome change" by airline professionals as well as performing artistes especially musicians who have faced challenges while travelling with their instruments....
