India, Oct. 15 -- A ctor Nana Patekar's death on October 8 sparked questions about his relationship with his family, after it was reported that he was alone at his Goa residence at the time. "Just because we don't share family pics on Insta, that doesn't mean we don't bond... woh akele kabhi nahin thhe, nor was he unwell; because we never left his side, one of us was always with him. Whatever it looks like from the outside to people doesn't matter to me; in reality, we as a family were strongly and emotionally connected," he says, adding that his father was committed towards staying fit. "Youngsters nahin kar pate, that was his level of fitness," Malhar adds. Recalling the day he lost his father, the 42-year-old shares that Nana was in Goa, while his cousin Prasad, who managed the late actor's work, was in Mumbai. "Nana ji kabhi kisi ko pareshan nahin karte thhe. So, when he felt uneasy, he only texted my cousin Amay, who was with him in Goa, and then made a call after some time. Amay reached immediately, but it was late. I got a call from my mum (Neelakanti Patekar) around 5am while I was in Pune. Uske baad, I felt the world around me stopped." Following Nana's death, actor Tanushree Dutta revisited the harassment case she filed against him in 2018, which was later closed due to insufficient evidence. Without naming anyone, Malhar says, "The case people are bringing up unnecessarily is already over. Aise logon ko main kuchh nahin boluga; bhagwan unka bhala kare."...
