Mount Carmel students shine at technology fest
Chandigarh, Aug. 14 -- Under the aegis of the founders and directors Earnest Charles J Samuel and Annie Charles Samuel alongwith the principal Parveena John Singh, students of Mount Carmel School showcased their talent and innovation by winning accolades at AItsav 4.0 - festival of AI & emerging technologies, held on August 8 at DCM Young Entrepreneurs School, Ludhiana. The annual inter-school technology festival witnessed enthusiastic participation from around 50 schools demonstrating their skills in artificial intelligence, robotics, coding, arduino, STEM, data science, AR/VR, drones, and other emerging technologies.
Bringing pride to the school, Viraaj Thakur and Vedanshi Thakur of Class 5-C secured the consolation prize in the AV5 pictoblox /scratch competition. In another remarkable achievement, Parth Sharma of Class 7-C and Vimarsh Kapoor of Class 8-D won the 3rd prize in the AV7 arduino buildathon competition, displaying exceptional creativity, technical expertise, and teamwork.
