Chandigarh, July 8 -- Mount Carmel School, Chandigarh organised 'The Mind Fizz', an inter-school science quiz, bringing together 15 leading schools from across the tricity for an exciting contest of scientific knowledge and critical thinking. Following a preliminary knockout round, four teams advanced to the grand finale, competing in six challenging rounds on Space & Astronomy, Medical Science, Environmental Sustainability, and Emerging Technologies. The event was graced by guests of honour Kawalpreet Kaur, Kailash C Jena, Chandan Chandna, and Neelesh Kumar, who appreciated the school's commitment to promoting scientific learning. The Tribune School, Chandigarh emerged as the champion, followed by Manav Rachna International School, Mohali as the first runner-up and New Public School, Chandigarh as the second runner-up. Gurukul Global School, Chandigarh received the consolation prize, while Carmel Convent School, Chandigarh was honoured with the special consolation prize. The founders & directors, Earnest Charles J Samuel and Annie Charles, commended the students for their scientific temperament and principal Parveena John Singh remarked that "The Mind Fizz inspires students to think critically, explore fearlessly, and innovate confidently."...
