Panchkula, Aug. 17 -- Two unidentified bikers allegedly snatched a gold chain weighing around 2.25 tolas from a 25-year-old man near his house in Sector 10, Panchkula, on Thursday morning. Complainant Amit Kaushik told police that he had returned home after his morning walk at around 8.18 am on August 14 when the two men approached from behind on a motorcycle and snatched his gold chain. Kaushik said the motorcycle was black and red in colour. He told police that the pillion rider wore a white T-shirt, while the other man wore a maroon T-shirt with black and white patterns and a red cap. The snatched chain was valued at around Rs.1.5 lakh, according to the FIR. The complainant said he could identify the suspects if they were brought before him.
