Modi, Mamata ramp up attacks
kOLKATA, April 25 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi and West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee on Friday traded charges ahead of the second phase of voting in the state, turning Jadavpur University into a key flashpoint of the campaign.
Addressing a rally in Jadavpur, Modi accused the Trinamool Congress (TMC) government of allowing "anarchy" to prevail on university campus, alleging threats to students and the display of "anti-national" posters.
