India, May 24 -- One of the first brands to tap into the trend was Firenze Gelateria & Caffe with its Modi Ji's Melody Gelato. Created by chef Parth Gupta, the dessert combines caramel gelato, chocolate fudge sauce and chunks of Melody candy to recreate the toffee's iconic flavour. "As a child, I absolutely loved Melody, especially that caramel-and-chocolate combination. Seeing the iconic Indian candy being appreciated in Italy inspired me to create an Indian-meets-Italian flavour around that moment," says founder Chef Parth Gupta....
