BATHINDA, July 17 -- Mansa police have registered a case against unidentified persons in connection with the alleged sacrilege of Guru Granth Sahib in Birewala Jattan in 2024, following a complaint lodged by the gurdwara management committee. SSP Bhagirath S Meena on Thursday said that, according to the complaint, someone had scribbled on the pages of the holy book two years ago. "The gurdwara management committee informed the SGPC about the incident. Following which, the SGPC had initiated an internal probe. However, no police complaint was registered at that time.
