Chandigarh, March 28 -- Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP Malvinder Singh Kang on Friday demanded a law for making dope and medical tests mandatory for men before marriage. Speaking in the Lok Sabha, Kang said a dope test and a medical fitness certificate should be made legally mandatory for grooms prior to marriage. He urged the Government of India and all state governments to take immediate and stringent steps in this direction. "This small reform can prove to be a major protective shield for the women of our country," he added. He urged the central government to introduce strict reforms in marriage-related laws. htc...
