Panchkula, July 3 -- The barricades installed at Majri Chowk will be removed on a trial basis to assess traffic movement, police commissioner Pankaj Nain announced on Thursday during a meeting with representatives of resident welfare associations (RWAs) from various sectors and colonies. He said traffic flow would be closely monitored during the trial, and further decisions would be taken based on the assessment. The barricades at the Majri Chowk light point in Sector 1 were initially installed in November 2023 on an experimental basis to ease traffic congestion.
