m.p. NEET aspirant found dead two days before exam, cops suspect suicide
Indore, June 20 -- A 20-year-old NEET aspirant was found dead in a residential building in Madhya Pradesh's Indore in a suspected case of suicide, two days before the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) re-examination, police said on Friday.
According to police, the incident took place on Thursday night under Bhanwarkuan police station limits.
Bhanwarkuan police station in-charge Santosh Dudhi said, "Prima facie, the matter appears to be a case of suicide, but we are not ruling out the possibility of an accident. Her mobile phone has been seized, as she was speaking to someone at the time. The Forensic Science Laboratory team has also inspected the scene."
The victim's elder sister said the aspirant had been under immense pressure as this was her last chance to clear the medical entrance exam after three unsuccessful attempts.
"The exact circumstances surrounding the death would be established only after a detailed investigation.We are recording statements of family members, including her father, sister and cousins, as part of the investigation," said Dudhi....
