Panchkula, Aug. 26 -- St Soldier School recently hosted Meraki - The Lit Fest, a vibrant three-day literary extravaganza that brought together young minds, celebrated literature, and created an immersive world of words, ideas and imagination. Spread across three enriching days, the fest featured around ten literary competitions for students from UKG to Class 12, providing children of different age groups with opportunities to explore their creativity, communication skills, imagination and love for literature. Meraki encouraged students to step beyond textbooks and experience literature as a living, breathing form of expression. A particularly enlightening aspect of the fest was the presence of eminent personalities from the worlds of journalism, academia, publishing, literature and education technology, who attended the event as judges and special guests. Their interaction with the students offered valuable insights, inspiration and a deeper understanding of the world of literature and contemporary communication. The concluding ceremony was marked by the announcement of the Meraki champions. While the host school, St Soldier School, Panchkula, secured the trophy, the school handed it over to Carmel Convent School, which emerged as the overall winner of Meraki - The Lit Fest 2026.
