Mohali, June 28 -- The Punjab health and family welfare department has transferred the senior medical officer (SMO) of civil hospital, Kharar, as part of its latest reshuffle of governmentdoctors. Under the transfer orders, Dr Rajesh Kumar, who was serving as the SMO at civil hospital, Kharar, has been posted to the district hospital in Sri Fatehgarh Sahib. Dr Sarita, who was serving as the SMO at the district hospital in Sri Fatehgarh Sahib, will take over charge at Kharar civil hospital. The department has also transferred Dr Jaspreet Basota, medical officer (general) at Kharar civil hospital, to the mini primary health centre (PHC) at Chonth in Patiala district.
