Chandigarh, Aug. 14 -- KBDAV-7 celebrates its Recognition Day 2026 to felicitate school students' excellence in academic rigour as well as co-curricular activities. Nitish Singla, PCS, director school education, education department, Chandigarh administration, was the illustrious and chief guest of the ceremony. The event was attended by Madhu Bahl, founder principal, Anuja Sharma, cluster head and principal DAV-15, Chandigarh, Jaskaran Harika, manager, KB DAV-7, Paramjit Singh, former registrar, PU, Arun Walia, senior advocate and members of LMC and Tri-City principals and parents. The principal applauded the efforts of the school students for putting up a brilliant performance in the CBSE Class 10 and 12 results. This was followed by the felicitation of 131 academic toppers & co-scholastic achievers from Nursery to Class 12. A special highlight of the event was 'Son of Soil - Shaheed-e-Bhagat Singh,' a stirring theatrical tribute to Shaheed Bhagat Singh. Adapted from Piyush Mishra's Gagan Damaama Baajyo, the production portrayed Bhagat Singh's transformation from a young boy deeply affected by the Jallianwala Bagh tragedy into a revolutionary who dedicated his life to the freedom of his motherland. The vibrant presentation beautifully blended 'Rang de Basanti' with the traditional 'Giddha.' The powerful traditional rendition of 'Aarambh Hai Prachand' was beautifully complimented by the grace and precision of Kathak creating a stunning fusion of strength and classical elegance....
