Chandigarh, July 16 -- KB DAV Senior Secondary Public School, Sector 7-B, Chandigarh Cyber Congress Club laid out an array of activities for Tricity Schools and all the DAV Schools for the students of Classes 4 to 12 from July 2nd, 2026 -to July 8th, 2026. 'Design-A-Thon Series-7' saw the participation of participants from Tricity Schools and all the DAV Schools while winners were selected by the honourable jury of Sandeep Joshi, senior cartoonist, The Tribune, Chandigarh; Vinod Bharti, an accomplished theatre actor, director, writer & lyricist; Preeti Gambhir, head of department of mass communication and Deeksha Gupta, assistant professor in the department of computer science and applications at MCM DAV College, Sector 36, Chandigarh. The event was graced by the presence of the chief guest, professor Prabhdip Brar, an eminent artist, Academician and chairperson & professor at the University Institute of Fashion Technology & Vocational Development, Panjab University, Chandigarh. An internationally acclaimed contemporary artist, Brar has represented India on global platforms and has showcased her work in numerous national and international exhibitions. She appreciated the efforts of the school in providing a nurturing platform for young minds and encouraged students to pursue excellence with dedication and integrity. Principal, Pooja Prakash applauded the constructive role played by the educators, the school computer department. She praised the thought provoking themes and the way delicate balance between experiential learning and art blended education has been achieved.
