Chandigarh, June 28 -- Punjab governor and UT administrator Gulab Chand Kataria on Saturday flagged off 25 quick response team (QRT) motorcycles, a quick response vehicle, and a Honda Elevate car for the Udaipur police under Honda India Foundation's road safety initiative "Sadak sahayak: Surakshit marg, surakshit jeevan". The newly inducted fleet is aimed at strengthening the force's emergency response capabilities, enabling faster action during road accidents, traffic management, and other emergency situations. Honda India Foundation had provided 25 QRT motorcycles to the Udaipur police in February this year as well. With Saturday's addition, the force's emergency response infrastructure has been further reinforced. Representatives of Honda India Foundation, including Karan Gilhotra and RajivTaneja, were present at the event.
