Chandigarh, Sept. 14 -- Janmashtami was celebrated with great pomp, fervour and enthusiasm at Shri Kulwant Rai Sarvhitkari Vidya Mandir, Sector 43-B. The celebration was a vibrant and colourful reflection of the life and teachings of Lord Krishna. The students participated enthusiastically in the programme dressed as Lord Krishna, Radha, Sudama, Yashoda and Nand Baba. The beautifully presented Jhankis depicting various episodes from the life of Lord Krishna added charm and grandeur to the celebration.
